To begin with, the Karaoke Shack has grouped together the main karaoke disc producers from Australia and New Zealand. So far, we have determined that there are only a few karaoke labels from Australia and New Zealand.

By and large, we suspect they mostly originate from Sundown Karaoke. However, this is open to debate.

We received this list from an old forum member, so thanks for that. Indeed, we also have a song list to accompany all the discs below. However, there is a bit of confusion surrounding these. Obviously, we need an expert on karaoke from down under to sift through the discs.

*** In short, this karaoke set has a similar amount of discs as the Capital Karaoke (Australia). Also, the same three discs made by Music Maestro. However, other than those Music Maestro connections, the rest of the discs seem to have different running orders. Obviously, this is where the confusion sets in!

Down Under Karaoke Discs

To clarify, we got this list from an anonymous karaoke collector who insists it is genuine. However, we have saw a few physical discs from these karaoke sets.

We have also seen snippets from some KJ’s karaoke song books. Indeed, we were just as confused as the poor old KJ’s. Therefore, an expert in the Australia/New Zealand karaoke scene could help us all greatly here.

Obviously,  a review of the Australian and New Zealand karaoke discs would be ideal.

Also, information about the musical content would be nice. So will information regarding the graphical content. Also a piece about the manufacturers involved here.

Indeed, any input is welcome of course. Obviously, all information will help out karaoke collectors the world over before they part with their hard-earned cash. For example, if all the tracks on the Capital Karaoke (Australia) are on The Karaoke Company (Australia) (TKCK) discs, then what would be the point of owning both? This would not only be expensive but a complete waste of space.
