Peter Tork From The Monkees Dies

Peter Tork From The Monkees Dies

Poor bloke was only 77 but lost his battle with cancer.
The Monkees were great when they came out in the 60's.
Another sad loss.
RIP.

Re: Using fold back/monitors

Oh yeah, I had a friend who had the most incredible bass speakers.
You could feel the rumble it was like thunder.
She sold up a long time ago but I wish I got hold of them speakers.
I haven't 'felt' another system like it anywhere.

Hopefully he will pop in soon.

Re: New startup

Well progress. I bought 145 various CDG disks second hand and then the Vocal Star series of 1350 songs for £99 plus 600 songs for £21 That gives me about 2800 songs without duplicates for £220. The quality varies so I will keep a particular look out for substandard songs and replace them. Robbie :c...

Re: Using fold back/monitors

Re: Using fold back/monitors

Back in the day I would use fold backs but about 20 years ago I found they were just an unnecessary luxury.
Them days are long, long gone.

Re: Pete Shelley RIP

The Buzzcocks were unique in the punk era.
I wasn't really set on punk but these lads were ok and many of their songs were love songs in their own way.
Far too young to die at 63 :o
RIP.
