Personally I would avoid this because it says you need a subscription for to use it.
I am sure people on here know ow to use it without paying more

I suspected it was a software issue because the old Plextors are spot on.

Are you sure that you are using the Power CD+G burner 2 software correctly?
As Benny says, you can get results off any CD burner but obviously most will not give good results, ie blotchy graphics.
Can you elaborate on the problem please.

I am not familiar with any software for this purpose but I am sure someone here can answer your question.

I am not aware of the gear that you have.
It's very difficult to create a home karaoke set-up.
What with acoustics and feedback etc.
I could never find an effective feedback eliminator so I never tried setting up at home.
Mind you my systems are powerful.

That sounds an excellent idea and to be honest it's long overdue!
