Very Sad News - Chas Hodges Has Died Today Aged 74

Chas was the lead singer of the Chas & Dave duo.
They sang a mixture of popular songs and rock music.
But mostly with a Cockney accent giving their music the name of 'Rockney'.
Chas Hodges was 74 when he died today of organ failure.
He did successfully get through treatment for cancer earlier this year.

As a northerner, I loved their music.
Well, I just like music really but I lioved these lads so much that I sing a few of their songs at the karaoke shows.
They sang songs such as 'There Ain't No Pleasing You' and 'Gertcha', which I attempt too.

Nice one Spoltlight, you sang those songs way before Chas died so you must really have liked them.
I must admit I like their work.
Rockney was their creation and had its own sound.
RIP Chas, gonna miss you.

You can't beat a bit of Rockney with Chas and Dave.
They were great musicians and their songs are a great singalong for all.
Very sad news.
