The Springfields - Island Of Dreams - 1962
Dusty Springfield, Tom Springfield, Tim Feild
Great song but Dusty in the middle seems to be crowded out on this video.
The two blokes are just getting on with it.
I think she is ok with her brother on the right, its the other one she is uncomfortable with

Re: The Springfields - Island Of Dreams - 1962
Its a very nice song and the singers look happy enough.
10/10 from me
Dusty Springfield was a lesbian so maybe didn't like the idea of being sandwiched between two men.
Mind you they didn't have put some good songs out.

What a nice song.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Karaoke is the spice of life.
Re: The Springfields - Island Of Dreams - 1962
Dusty Springfield does look slightly worried between them two blokes
They performed the song really well but maybe she wanted a bit more space.
Crowding over one microphone would have been rather claustrophobic.
Maybe she wanted to steal the limelight.

Karaoke is for life - not just for Christmas
Re: The Springfields - Island Of Dreams - 1962
I never found Dusty Springfield to be attractive
She certainly is a great singer from the 1960's.
As for the video
She does look a bit uncomfortable with the bloke on the left.
I think he knows it as he gives her a sly look as well

Re: The Springfields - Island Of Dreams - 1962
Dusty Springfield wasn't being professional there.
I think that mans guitar was touching her in some way but she should have suffered in silence.
Nice song, nice lass, even if she was a lesbian
She was always well known for her hairstyles.

Thanks for posting this video.
I really like the song.
If Dusty Springfield could only have known that all these years later we would be speaking of "Island of Dreams" she would be proud.
I had to laugh at the way she kept looking at the one on her right.
I don't think she liked being as close to him as she was
