The currency is the British pound.
You will gain pounds on the number of words that you post - this is doubled should you start a new thread.
There is other cash associated with posting.

The lottery system is now open and is drawn every hour.

There is also a way to rob another user by up to 10% of their points but this can backfire on the thief
