Pete Shelley RIP

Pete Shelley RIP

I woke this morning to learn of the death of Pete Shelley.
Pete was the singer with The Buzzcocks.
Their best song as far as the majority would say was 'Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)' from 1978.
But their album 'Going Steady' is one which I have played regular over the years.
Pete was only 63 when he is believed to have suffered a heart attack at his home in Estonia.
RIP

The Buzzcocks were unique in the punk era.
I wasn't really set on punk but these lads were ok and many of their songs were love songs in their own way.
Far too young to die at 63 :o
RIP.

Yes, I saw this sad news when he died, I was surfing the internet so I tried to find the BBC news on freeview and my TV broke so I never seen it on TV.
The Buzzcocks made an impression on me in the late 1970's.
RIP.

* I am surprised @Spotlight not singing one of theirs
