Singer’s Solution Karaoke, FastTrax And Quik Hitz Introduction
Singer’s Solution Karaoke, FastTrax & Quik Hitz come from the same producers. Moreover, this is one of only a handful of producers still making karaoke tracks in 2014. But not for long because of the labelling issues!
Indeed, these three labels are dormant now, and no new discs are coming from them.
Singer’s Solution Karaoke was the last to be produced. Of course, we wish the makers all the luck in the world. However, the big corporates will ensure they operate legally or not at all!
There were plenty of these discs when we looked online, and all offers seemed reasonably cheap for new karaoke discs. Before you buy, check how many karaoke tracks are on the disc. That is because some people in the karaoke scene feel there is not enough.
Usually, you can get around 18 karaoke tracks on average on a CDG. Singer’s Solution released lots of karaoke discs with far fewer than that. With this in mind, you need to decide if they are worth it. Singer’s Solution Karaoke has all the big-name artists with popular songs.
Compiling The Data

Indeed, we list the karaoke discs as most karaoke jockeys (KJs) do. KJs appreciate us helping them decide how to list prefixes in their songbooks. By studying the lists and cross-referencing, we show how to avoid many dupes from this karaoke maker.
One Label – Three Brand Names
- Singer’s Solution Karaoke: This is the primary brand name. It gave us an ‘Artist Series’ where each disc is specific to one artist. There is also a country music series, together with a pop series.
- FastTrax Karaoke: The FastTrax label released discs identical to Singer’s Solution Pop and Country. The other releases are similar to those from Quik Hitz.
- Quik Hitz Karaoke: As the list below shows, this label has numerous discs identical to those from the other two brands. By and large, the spelling of this label is a little confusing, especially when googling. Although it sounds like Quick Hits karaoke, the correct spelling is Quik Hitz.
This karaoke manufacturer will no longer make discs for any of the labels in this series (legal issues). Of course, the three brand names are the same label, as you will soon discover. Indeed, there are a lot of crossovers where discs on one label are identical to those of another.
Usually, on Karaoke Info, if a brand is unique with its very own splash screen and labels, it has a page for itself. However, this is the exception to the rule because of an identity crisis and duplications. That is so that you can avoid dupes in your collection. We believe that this karaoke maker was trying to avoid conflict with the publishers at the time.

Singer’s Solution Karaoke Review***
Our samples for this review include a couple from each label. That was to see what the splash screens are like and to look for other differences. The splash screens vary a lot, however. So there’s no common theme there. You will always see the song title and artist, though.
Likewise, the colour of the lyrics varies. However, all the wording is perfectly legible. The choice of backing music is excellent, and the on-screen lyrics match perfectly. So, you can’t ask for more!

Desirability Factor
Apart from the small number of tracks on each CD+G, they function well. You can easily use these discs for gigging and home use.
We liked these karaoke discs, but due to licensing issues, they will cease production. However, they exist, and we can’t fault them too much.
We can’t possibly sample all the tracks on these labels, but if you have some, why not leave a comment or two below? Indeed, by doing that, you are helping future karaoke collectors!
Singer’s Solution Karaoke – In Summary
The staff at Karaoke Info don’t gig too often nowadays. So, we have no experience with these karaoke discs by Singer’s Solution or their derivatives. However, the samples we used for the review show that they are decent, and we would have no problem gigging with them at a karaoke venue.
The only real niggle with them is that all the discs we saw only had 9, 10 or 11 tracks, while other labels, such as Sunfly, pack their karaoke discs with around 18 songs. Of course, if you think they perform well, that will not matter.
All in all, we would love to get some information about the producers. So, what do you know about the people behind this karaoke label?

Would You Buy Duplicate Karaoke Discs?
Why would anyone want a collection of discs identical to another set? For most people, this doesn’t make economic sense. Nevertheless, some avid collectors may desire the lot because that’s what they do!
Of course, by checking the list above, the casual karaoke collector can avoid dupes. You can also verify the duplications with the songbook. As far as we understand, the duplicate songs are identical. But there is a possible label change. Correspondingly, the artwork on the CDG and covers may be slightly different. But they are the same tracks.
Singer’s Solution Karaoke Songbook
So, now that you have the info and reviews for these sets of discs, you will need the song list. As previously noted, some discs in this range are identical. In the songbook, you can now see the duplicate tracks so you can pick and choose.
You will also note that these discs have all the best artists and popular songs from their release date. However, if you need to avoid dupes, study the list carefully. With this in mind, the best bet is to concentrate on Singer’s Solution. From there, you can choose any other unique tracks or discs.

Not enough tracks on a disc!
If I buy a karaoke disc, I want at least 16 songs!
Run-of-the-mill karaoke.
These karaoke discs are average. However, I find them strange, and I don’t trust them.
