Plextor PX-755A Issues with Burning CD+G

Hi, after extensively viewing and researching the content of the Karaoke Burners page
I managed to buy a Plextor PX-755A from ebay and thought i would try to burn a CD+G with Power CD+G burner 2.

Sadly all i seem to get is an cda audio disc only. Any ideas?

The Karaoke Burners page suggests that it should read and write just fine.

I am on Windows 7 pro and having to use: 3.5 HDD IDE/PATA to SATA Converter I got from Amazon that converts the IDE to Sata. Could that be the reason?



Any help will be really appreciated.

In the meantime, you say you are getting an audio disc?
OK, but most CD burners should give you some results - mostly bad with plenty of graphics problems.

I suggest that you are not burning the disc correctly so I think it it could be how you are programming things.
I wouldn't trust those converters either.

Can you get back and tell us how the graphics are showing after you burn a disc please.

Are you sure that you are using the Power CD+G burner 2 software correctly?
As Benny says, you can get results off any CD burner but obviously most will not give good results, ie blotchy graphics.
Can you elaborate on the problem please.

Well that is embarrassing It was Power CD+G burner i was using.

I installed Power CD+G burner 2 and it installed drivers it seems that were needed.

Now it is correct in both Power CD+G Player Pro and real CD+G player.

I suspected it was a software issue because the old Plextors are spot on.
